Algorithm

Hashtag

Influencer marketing

A collaboration between brands and influencers – individuals with a large social media following. Influencers can affect the purchasing decisions of their followers by creating content that resonates within their communities.

MEME

Humorous elements that spread on social media, usually in the form of images or videos. MEMEs often use viral videos or images edited to deliver a joke or commentary on current events.

Post

Content that a user publishes on a social network to interact with other users. A post can take the form of text, links, videos, or images.

Reels

Short videos of up to 90 seconds that users share on their Instagram profiles. Reels may include music or effects and, unlike Stories, remain permanently visible on the profile.

Social Networks

Online platforms where users share visual content, ideas, and information. Managing a brand’s presence on social media strengthens online visibility, raises awareness, and builds customer relationships.

Stories

Temporary posts shared on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok that disappear after 24 hours. Users can adjust the privacy of Stories, making them public or visible to a select group of followers.

Tag

A feature primarily used on Instagram and Facebook that allows users to mention or link others or locations in a specific post. Tags increase the visibility of users or locations within shared content.

Troll

An individual who deliberately stirs up conflict in social media comments by posting provocative or offensive remarks, often to spark arguments.

VIRAL

Content that spreads rapidly online, attracting a wide audience through its originality, distinctiveness, or timeliness.
